While knitting this shawl, remember the moments in your life when you felt at peace. If you “knit them into” the fabric of the shawl, the shawl can later serve as a reminder to notice such peaceful moments in your everyday life, and to create them for yourself.
This crescent shaped shawl is worked top down using yarn in three colours. It features a squishy two-colour brioche body, and a fast to work diamond lace edging. According to the instructions provided, you can make a medium sized shawl from lace weight yarn, or a large shawl from fingering weight. However, it is very easy to make the shawl larger or smaller using the notes on customisation.
