Here’s a variation on a classic raglan pullover. With an unconventional raglan shaping and a sweatshirt feel, this pullover design invites you to play with thin stripes.
I used a color changing yarn that mimics the effect achieved by hand spun yarn. You can also use a solid color or several leftovers for different fun results!
The shaping in the yoke is achieved by alternating the place where you work your increases. This increase/decrease play continues down the body, so the thin stripes shift diagonally, giving this sweater a super flattering look.
I am really happy with the way this neckline turned out as well! It’s super important for me to have the back neck raised a little (so that the front neck can fall down) and it was a challenge to do it with one row stripes, but it worked!
