This unique workshop is designed to be an amazing opportunity to have fun while learning StevenBe’s personal glossary of Tips & Tricks of a Lazy Knitter.
StevenBe sets you free from patterns as written and helps you feel comfortable making your own modifications and design decisions, releasing the hidden designer within you! Experience the magic of mixology with the King of Fiber Fusion himself! Learn the amazing effects created by taking a variety of yarns from different brands, weights, and fiber contents to create magical and unique garments and elaborate accessories. You will never look at a pattern the same way again!
Skill Level: Adventurous beginner and up
Knit and crochet options are available
What to bring:
•A notebook and pen or pencil for taking copious notes.
•Customized Kits will be offered for design of students choosing from the Legendary Book that they will receive via email upon signing up. Or
students may bring their own yarn applicable to chosen project from home. Personal consultations are available by emailing
Steven@stevenbe.com. •
Yarns should be chosen and wound prior to class. More yarns can be added during class.
•A variety of hook sizes or needle sizes from US 6 to US 15 will be needed so bring a good selection (we recommend an interchangeable set).
•Preferred notions including: stitch markers, tapestry needle, tape measure, and scissors.
•A work-in-progress or finished project for show and tell (the desire to be admired is not required -but it is recommended!)
StevenBe will provide: SB handout and you will receive a PDF copy of Steven’s Legendary Book from which you will chose a project.
Steven will have unique yarns available during class.
