The Arachnotoebia Socks are stranded colorwork socks worked in the round from the top down using the Magic Loop Method. There are 6 different colorwork charts used in this pattern which makes the pattern fun and exciting until the end!
Needles
US 0 (2.0 mm) circular needle on 32” cable for magic loop method.
US 1 (2.25 mm) circular needle on 32” cable for magic loop method.
US 2 (2.75 mm) double pointed needle (only one needle is needed), for cast on.
Gauge
32 sts x 36 rows = 4” (10 cm) square in stockinette colorwork pattern after blocking.
Yarn
Fingering weight yarn in two colors of your choice. You will want to use two colors that contrast greatly. The sock shown here was knitted using a solid color for the main color, and a self-striping color for the contrast color.
Main Color (MC): 197 (220, 240, 262, 285, 305) yards / 180 (201, 219, 239, 261, 279 meters.
